As a natural extension of his Deceased Estate practice, Lazaros has been involved in death benefit disputes arising from superannuation, including written submissions to the Superannuation Complaints Tribunal.
Lazaros regularly appears in the Magistrates’ Court in all Family Violence and Intervention Order matters. He generally resolves these matters at the first return date at Court, knowing that the cost and stress to his client can be overbearing.

Lazaros has also experience in applications to be deemed a non-prohibited person – that is, for the purpose of holding a firearms licence.
One particular area in which Lazaros has maintained an interest is in Property law. He is frequently instructed in relation to caveats, restrictive covenants (including Section 84 applications in the Supreme Court), and the Contract of Sale. He is also strategic in opposing developments in the Planning and Environment List at VCAT, particularly those involving complex restrictive covenants.
He has also successfully brought claims for negligence against conveyancers for defects in the conveyancing process, and secured his client their professional costs thrown away in the process.
